Traeger has built a solid reputation in the pellet-grill world, especially for those who want versatility. Smoke low and slow, grill hot, bake, even crisp with good results. Their range spans from entry models through to feature-rich versions with WiFi, touchscreen controls and large cooking areas.
We are officially launching Traeger in store on Saturday the 1st of Nov at Top of the Range - 24 Stradbroke st, Toowoomba. If you've been thinking about getting a Traeger or upgrading take a read, and come by on the 1st.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what you’ll find (and what each style might work for) — great to keep in mind for your next store visit.
-
Entry/Value models: Big cooking area for the price, digital controls, good everyday BBQ performance. The base Woodridge holds temperature well and does your low and slow well.
-
Mid-level: Better build, more features (e.g., pellet sensors, upgraded carts), and more “outdoor kitchen” feel. The Ironwood line is your best bet.
-
Premium: Top tier build, large capacity, advanced features (touchscreen, induction side plate for prepping, etc.). The Timberline is the one to have a look at

Traeger has a long list of pro's but a few we've noticed straight up.
-
Versatile cooking: smoke, grill, bake — gives you flexibility beyond just “grill burgers”.
-
Digital / app / WiFi features (in many models) make life easier if you like tech.
-
Big cooking surface options: Good when you need to feed a crowd.
Since we’re hosting the Traeger launch on Nov 1st, here’s what you’ll get by swinging by our store:
-
Hands-on time: See the grills in person, open lids, check build, get comfortable with the controls.
-
Ask away: Whatever BBQ questions you’ve got (smoking brisket, reverse sear, pellets, etc), the Traeger pro's will be fielding questions all day.
- Demo cooks: Trager pro's will be cooking up, you can watch from start to finish pick up tricks and sample.
-
Lucky door prize: You don't need a ticket to attend, but those who get a free ticket on our event page go into the drawer for our lucky door prize. We have a few Yeti goodies, and a secret item we think you'll love even more. Event tickets
-
Get ahead: If you’re upgrading or buying your first pellet grill, coming early means more choice, better stock and get-in before peak BBQ season.

Before you head in.
-
Think of how much you cook and what you cook: Are you grilling burgers & veggies? Smoking a brisket or doing full outdoor kitchen meals? That will guide which Traeger model fits you.
-
Bring your questions: pellet flavours, cleaning/maintenance (ash/grease), searing vs smoking, space & layout.
-
Make a list of must-have features: Digital app? Large cooking area? Side shelf?
-
Mark the date: November 1st, TOTR 10am - 4pm
-
If you can, consider making a “wish list”: comparing your current setup vs what you want the Traeger to do.
We’d love to see you there — bring your BBQ curiosity and we’ll bring the Traeger demos, good vibes and expert chat.
